Armed Security Officer
G-License
This Course is suitable for individuals who are ineterested in becoming an armed security officer and covers arresting powers ,policies and procedures . Students are taught the use of force and how to de-escalate a situation. After successfully completely the course and passing a written exam ,students are presented with a certificate of completion.
Concealed Weapon Training
Thia course consists of classroom instruction and is suitable for individuals interested in pursuing a profession as an armed security officer.In addition to classroom instruction, the course has several interactive sessions and range qualifications that students must successfully complete.The course curriculum covers proper care of firearms, civil and criminal liability ,firearm retention and storage ,deadly force ,justifiable deadly force , range safety,principles of marksmanship,practical firearms handling and safety, judgemental shooting and dim and low light shooting.
Unarmed Security Officer
D-License 40 hrs & 24 hrs
This basic security officer training is designed for individuals with or without prior security experience .The course is required by the State of Florida and covers elements of Florida law,history of private security ,criminal law definitions, patrol procedures , report writing and codes of conduct . After successful completion of the course and passing a written exam,students receive a certificate of completion.
